Hello! I'm Anna, a freelance journalist, copywriter, and editor from Scotland, now based in London.
I have over seven years of experience working to tight deadlines on a wide range of projects. I'm interested in writing about beauty, wellness, social justice, travel, work, and the ways we choose to express ourselves in-person and online.
I have bylines in VICE, i-D, Insider, Bustle, InStyle, The Strategist, Huck, Metro, DK Books, Culture Trip, Hunger, and The Independent. In 2017 I was a finalist in the Vogue Talent Contest for young writers.
I have also produced engaging marketing copy for brands including Skin + Me, Zoopla, Plum Guide, Spate, Doctify, Clarion Events, and BMI Healthcare (now Circle Health Group).
From January 2017 until November 2020, I was the editor of Creative HEAD Ireland, a B2B magazine for hairdressing professionals. I was invited to speak at events including Goldwell MBE Salon Business Panel in Barcelona and Salon Smart in Dublin, and I have hosted discussions on Instagram Live.
